How I Work
Every person is unique, and therapy is shaped around their individual needs, goals, and pace. Below, you can find an overview of how I work and what you can expect from the therapeutic process.
1
Introductory Phone Call
You can get in touch with me by phone or through the contact form. During a brief initial conversation, we can discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and arrange your first session.
2
Initial Session
The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to therapy. We will talk about the difficulties or concerns you would like to address, as well as what you hope to get from therapy. It is also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
3
Deciding to Continue
If we decide to continue working together, the therapy will develop according to your individual needs, goals, and pace. There is no fixed path or set timeframe that applies to everyone.
As therapy progresses, we will regularly review how things are going and whether the work continues to meet your needs. We can adjust the focus and goals of therapy as needed, so that the process remains meaningful and relevant to you.
The duration of therapy can vary depending on what you would like to explore and what you hope to gain from the work. Some people may benefit from short-term therapy focused on a specific concern, while others may choose to work together for longer when exploring more complex or longstanding difficulties.
